I have compiled a list of my top 7 beach essentials for your hot summer days.
This is my number one beach essential lately. I am so glad one-piece suits are back in style, especially if you’re like me and don’t exactly want to expose the mac n’ cheeseburger you ate for lunch. Plunge suits are my favorite because they make the one-piece a little sexier than just the average “lifeguard” suit. This black plunge one-piece from ASOS has been my go-to swimsuit this summer.
These are always a must-have for my beach days. Ditch the cover up, all you need are these babies and you’re good. I’m wearing the light denim frayed cut-offs.
Big sunglasses are the best. I’m currently obsessed with all of Quay Austrailia’s sunnies. I have five pairs at the moment. No shame. My favorite shapes are cat-eye and rounded. The mirrored look with a gradient colored lens is trendy too. Hello, sunset reflections.
Okay, I have literally been using this macrame purse every day this summer. It needs to be washed because I’ve used it so much. Learning how to macrame is now on my to-do list.
Seriously, you can fit a handful of people on these blankets because they’re so big. I don’t even really use my towel when I have this. Drying in the sun is the way to go. Not to mention, the patterns are so fun and colorful too!
Basking in the sun all day and swimming in salt water will make your lips super dry. I keep mine moisturized while also adding some color with Pixi Beauty Lip Balm. My favorite beach lip colors are bright pinks and corals.
Duh. How else are you going to both cool off from the summer heat and relax at the same time? It’s actually oddly satisfying to be floating in a colorful donut. Plus, this float is so much bigger than the average ones you buy at the beach shops; I’ve actually even fit two people in it at once.
